Milken Institute

This production was delivered as Castelein AV — the same team that now operates internationally as First Impact.

The Milken Institute's Global Investors Symposium brought international finance and investment leaders to the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City for a high-level forum. The production had to run across five distinct spaces at once — the Plenary Hall, two breakout rooms, the foyer, and a dedicated speaker ready room — each with its own audio, video and staging requirements, coordinated as a single event rather than five separate bookings.

The brief came through a UK-based international event agency working on behalf of Milken Institute, with the Four Seasons as the venue partner. That meant coordinating technical delivery across three stakeholders — agency, client and venue — while keeping one point of accountability for everything that touched sound, light, screen or signal.

The brief called for flawless, end-to-end technical production for an international forum: audio, lighting, video, live streaming and infrastructure integrated as one system rather than handled space by space. That meant full coverage of the Plenary Hall, two breakout rooms, the foyer and the production and speaker-ready areas — with simultaneous interpretation, CCTV monitoring, image processing, dedicated power generation, ICT infrastructure, intercom, scenic elements and printed graphics all running under the same technical direction.

With international investors and speakers in the room and a live stream carrying the program beyond it, there was no room for the production itself to show — the forum had to read as one continuous, high-level event from the Plenary Hall to the breakout sessions.
